What's Moving Into the Former Focaccia's Building?

A new restaurant is moving to where Focaccia's previously was located.

A new business will be coming to Wilmington. But have you heard what will be opening in the location formerly occupied by Focaccia's?

Last fall, Focaccia's surprised many in the community when it closed its doors suddenly. It was reportedly over a dispute between ownership and management, with the decision coming as a surprise to employees as well.

The closing left a vacancy at 2 Lowell Street. That's where Tremezzo Ristorante comes in.

Described on its Twitter account as "Inspired service that will leave you wanting more," Tremezzo Ristorante says it is "Italian fusion cooking" with an "eclectic drink list."

The restaurant isn't quite at the opening stage yet. The owners of the new Wilmington business have been working diligently over recent weeks to redecorate the building.

Check back soon with Wilmington Patch as we talk to the business owners for more information on what diners can expect at Tremezzo Ristorante.

In the meantime, follow Tremezzo Ristorante on Twitter for updates on the business' progress.
