School Committee to Discuss Substance Abuse Tonight

School Committee members will tackle a short agenda tonight as the board meets inside the Wilmington High School library at 7 p.m.

After a handful of administrative tasks, Joanne Benton will begin her Superintendent's Report with a personnel report for board members.

Next in her discussion is a look at Wilmington Middle School class sizes and also Wilmington High School classes. 

There is nothing listed on the agenda under old business, while the piece of new business is a topic that has been popular amount Wilmington residents in recent months.

School Committee members will discuss what the district can do to prevent substance abuse and educate students on the topic.

Following Public Comments, the meeting wraps up until the next sessions, which are slated for October 10 and October 24.
