Police Log: Fugitive From Justice and a Possibly Stolen Vehicle

The following information was supplied by the Wilmington Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

The following is an excerpt from the Wilmington Police log from Wednesday, July 31, to Thursday, August 1.

Wednesday, July 31

1:19 a.m.: Police pulled a vehicle over in the lot of Sonny's Mobil on the Run. Tiffany M. Oram, 22, of 28 Winthrop Way, Medford, was arrested on three outstanding warrants.

1:23 p.m.: Calling from Rollins Road, a resident reported a man possibly breaking into a home in the area. A man was entering through the side window. Police checked the home and everything was in order. The man entering the house was the son of the homeowner.

3:34 p.m.: Following an incident on Mackey Road, a woman from the address was summonsed for violating a harassment prevention order.

6:11 p.m.: Police issued a by-law violation of improper dumping on Ainsworth Road.

8:08 p.m.: A Jere Road resident wanted it logged that a neighbor was yelling at her and threatening her dog because the dog relieved itself on the grass in front of the neighbor's house.

11:02 p.m.: On Lincoln Street, a resident reported his vehicle was stolen about two hours ago, he believes by his girlfriend. Officers made contact with the woman and advised her to return the vehicle tonight or tomorrow morning.

Thursday, August 1

2:35 a.m.: Police checked on an occupied vehicle in the Olympia Sports parking lot. Officers spoke to the Santa Barbara, Cal., Sheriff's Office in regards to a warrant out of their state. The department sent a picture of the man, and said the warrant was fully extraditable. They wanted the man taken into custody. Sean A. Serino, 24, of 140 Westbrook Hills Apt. 125, Syracuse, N.Y., was arrested for being a fugitive from justice on a court warrant.

8:58 a.m.: A deceased baby coyote was located on the sidewalk on Hopkins Street.

11:29 a.m.: Kathleen Lamontagne, 56, of 555 S. Union Street, Lawrence, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

8:34 p.m.: Police located a suspicious vehicle driving up and down Kiernan Ave. The operator and passenger were given a verbal warning for a seatbelt violation. A consent search of the vehicle was completed, and drug paraphernalia was confiscated.
