Born in Italy, Wilmington Man Was Devoted Father

Camillo Cipollone passed away in the Wilmington Health Care Center.

The following is an obituary courtesy of Dello Russo Funeral Home.

Camillo Cipollone of Medford died Monday, June 23, in the Wilmington Health Care Center, Wilmington. Born in Italy, he was the son of the late Filippo and Serafina (DiGirolamo) Cipollone. Camillo lived in the North End of Boston before moving to Somerville, and finally settled in Medford, where he lived for 37 years.

Camillo was the beloved husband of Maria Domenica (Scenna) Cipollone and devoted father of Domenic Cipollone and his partner Kathleen AuCoin of Wilmington. He was the loving brother of Ida D'Angelo and her husband Nicola of Medford, Donato Cipollone of Italy, Lorenzo Cipollone of Medford, Rocco Cipollone of Italy, and the late Marceliano Cipollone. Brother-in-law of Angela Francescucci and her late husband Nicola of Burlington, Mary Mastrocola and her late husband Robert of Reading and Anna Scenna of Stoneham. Camillo is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, June 26, at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 a.m. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Wednesday from 4 through 8 PM.
