Wilmington Annual Town Election Arrives This Weekend

There is only one contested race on this year's ballot, and it is for School Committee.

Election Day is this weekend, though it may be a slow day at the polls in Wilmington on Saturday.

Polls will be open on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at polling locations around town.

So who will you be voting for at the polls? There is just one contested race this year.

Michael McCoy and Judy O'Connell, both incumbents, are running for re-election to the Board of Selectmen. Residents will be able to vote for two candidates, so each will secure a three-year term.

The contested race comes for School Committee, where three candidates are vying for two three-year terms.

Ginny Bonish is hoping for re-election to the board, while she competes against Steve Bjork and Donna Leone.
