Silver Lake

I wish they would increase the cost for non residents for Silver Lake to $100 per day. My family and I have gone their a few times this summer. It is a very clean lake and the lifeguards are great. But it is really upsetting the way some non residents act. People coming from Lawrence, etc., who use foul language(when asked not to talk this way they tell you to go you know), throwing items in the water between friends(many times almost hitting my children who were just minding their own business swimming) and all yelling in their native language to each other. They are constantly being spoken to by the lifeguards for not abiding by the beach rules. Literally all I heard for hours is  the lifeguards blowing their whistle to ask them to stop doing this, stop doing that. They think the rules do not apply to them. It was extremely annoying to myself and I am sure many other parents felt the same way. I just want our beach back the way it was. And lastly we had to leave at 5 pm when we were overtaken my these people due to their being no charge. Lets end this. Thank you.
