Why did you want to take over as owner of Focaccia's?

Because I’ve been the head chef for 12 years and I love to cook. I love being at Focaccia’s and I’ve always wanted to own my own restaurant.

Why is Wilmington a good place to own a business, and why is Focaccia's in a good location?

Because of how family oriented the towns people are. We are a family restaurant and enjoy having a family atmosphere. Being on the corner of Route 38 and Route 129 is ideal. We are only two miles from I-93 and Reading. We are only three miles from Woburn and four miles from Route 128. Tewksbury is also only 4 miles away on route 38.

What is your favorite menu item and why?

My favorite menu items are on Friday and Saturday night when I create three or four specials. I love making new creations for my customers.

How much do you enjoy the customer interaction aspect of owning a restaurant?

I like interacting with the customers. I feel really good when they tell me that they love the meal I just made for them. It’s also a good feeling when a family tells you that Focaccia’s is their favorite restaurant.
