Royal Dynasty Re-Opening Delayed, Owners Remain Upbeat
Though the restaurant won't open as Pacific Grove in November as planned, Victor and May Hui said they are excited to be a part of the Wilmington community.
Wilmington residents have been hungry for information on the opening date of the newly renovated Royal Dynasty restaurant, which will be renamed Pacific Grove. According to the business’ owner, it will be worth the wait. Victor Hui and his wife, May, have run into some delays in construction in fixing their Lowell Street restaurant, but said on Tuesday that they are hopeful to open Pacific Grove’s doors around New Year. When he was before the Board of Selectmen for the first time several months ago as the new owner, Victor said he hoped to have the Chinese restaurant opened with a new Sushi bar at some point in September. I just checked out their luncheon specials. I hope they will incorporate how RD did their combination dinners. I liked that I could order 113. Fried rice and a choice of any 3 items. The China Cuisine has a very limited choices. I have to get something I don't want and not get something I want. I will miss that about RD. Oh well there is always Golden Ginger. more ›
