State Police To Step Up Patrol of Route 125

The State Police have announced increased patrols in light of Andover's fatal accident.

In light of a crash in Andover that killed an elderly couple last week, the State Police Barracks will be focusing on Route 125 immediately. In a press release sent Thursday, State Police said effective immediately, they will be directing a selective enforcement patrol to focus exclusively on Route 125 through Wilmington, Andover, and North Andover. "This action is being taken in the interest of public safety in response to traffic concerns raised by community members," the release said.
