Rocco's Going Purple for Alzheimer's Awareness
The local business is helping raise money by wearing purple and asking for customer donations.
Rocco’s has been a staple in the Wilmington community for decades. But owner Chuck DePasquale wants to make sure the business serves as more than just a place to eat. Employees at the restaurant are spending the weekend holding the “Rocco’s Goes Purple” event, which will help raise funds and awareness about Alzheimer’s Disease. Beginning Friday and lasting through Sunday, employees are wearing purple shirts and asking customers for donations to help support the cause.
