There is a new entrant into the highly competitive world of Wilmington roast beef restaurants. Rizzo's Roast Beef & Pizza opened its doors at 3R Church Street on March 18. Owner George Rozopoulas said he has been very pleased with the reception the restaurant has received in the first week. "It's been a grand slam so far," he said. This is the third "Rizzo's" for Rozopoulas. He founded the chain in Peabody and Salem but has since sold the Peabody location. The menu features pizza, calzones, subs, sandwiches, pastas and more for eating in, take out or delivery. I think Rizzos is so good and sooooo clean! I think the owner has his own opinion to say what he likes and he really is just telling it how it is some of the other establishments are filthy so be thankful for great food and a great place to go to!
