31st Annual Hons Holiday Fair
For the 31st year running, the Shriners' Hons raise funds for a great cause with their Holiday Fair.
On Sunday, Nov. 14, the Fez Room at Wilmington's Shriners Auditorium buzzed with excitement and hundreds of people as a year's worth of hard work came together for the 31st Annual Hons Holiday Fair. The Hons, an acronym for "Helping Our Nobles Serve," is a group founded in 1978 by the wives of the Aleppo Shriners–the men's fraternal organization that owns and operates the auditorium. The Hons' raise money to support the upkeep of the auditorium and the events held there, which in turn raises money to pay transportation costs for sick and injured children visiting the Shriners' hospitals.
