Police Make Seven OUI Arrests Over Three Days
Of the seven drivers arrested over the weekend for allegedly driving under the influence, four have already been arrested on previous charges.
Wilmington Police were busy over the weekend, making seven drunk driving arrests in a span of three days. Those arrests included four drivers who were arrested for a subsequent offense of operating under the influence. According to the latest police log, the first arrest of the weekend came on Friday at 12:59 a.m. Police stopped a driver between Exit 40 and 41 on I-93 North. Clifford C. Matthews, 56, of 17C Forest Acres Drive, Bradford, was arrested and charged with operating under the influence, second offense, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, speeding and marked lanes violation.
