Garden Trip is Siegel Family Tradition

Adam Siegel, a current senior, and alumni Eric Siegel are part of the only two TD Garden trips in Wilmington history.

Puck drops at 3:30 p.m. For Wilmington High School, earning a trip to the Division 2 hockey championship is extremely rare. But for the Siegel brothers, it runs in the family. Eric Siegel, 21, led the Wildcats to their first ever appearance in 2008, which they lost in a close contest. Sunday Marks Final Chapter for Wildcat Seniors

Steve Scanlon reflects on the players who will leave the ice for the final time after the state championship tilt.

Puck drops at 3:30 p.m. Win or lose, Sunday will be the final game of the season for the Wilmington boys hockey team. And when the team skates off of the TD Garden ice after the final horn, it also marks the final high school game for nine Wildcat seniors. Puck drops at 3:30 p.m. If you’re looking for Cam Owens after a Wilmington win, he isn’t hard to find. Just follow the music. The junior forward is the designated DJ for the Wildcats, carrying around a portable speaker that blasts out tunes as the team loads onto the bus.
