Wilmington Senior Honored for Winning PSA [VIDEO]

By the time he left the Wilmington High School auditorium, Zack Frost had his hands full. The senior was handed a variety of prizes during an assembly honoring him as the winner of "Dance. Don't Chance," sponsored by the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security's Highway Safety Division. Among the prizes Frost earned for his video about making safe decisions when getting behind the wheel are a limousine ride to prom, five corsages for the dance, and a free DJ from JAM'N 94.5 FM for the school's senior prom. This story was chosen for the Huffington Post's Greatest Person of the Day segment on April 27, 2012.

Wilmington Student Wins Prom Video Contest

Zack Frost will be honored during assembly Wednesday afternoon for "Dance. Don't Chance." victory.

Wilmington High School educators have been sending the message to students stay safe, especially around prom and graduation season.  That message is now coming to the student body from one of their classmates as well. Zack Frost will be announced as the winner of the state’s “Dance. Don’t Chance.” video contest at the school on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Frost’s video was chosen out of about 50 entries that stressed the importance of safe and sober driving. “It’s the most important message we can get out there to kids and familes,” said WHS principal Eric Tracy. “Any time you can get a message from someone that’s close to them, one of their peers, or someone in their age group, they tend to pay attention to it.” State officials will be in …
