Wilmington Library to Host Foreign Film Series
Back by popular demand, the Wilmington Memorial Library will be showing foreign movies every Monday in November.
On Monday nights at 6:15 p.m. in November, Wilmington Memorial Library once more hosts a series of foreign films. The movies are a mix of European, African, and Central American films that have received high accolades and won international awards. No matter what language is being spoken, the films highlight the distinct cultures and peoples of the countries in which they were made. "Residents should expect to see a film of good quality that exposes them to other cultures and ideas," Katie Huffman, the Adult Services Librarian and organizer of the foreign film series said.
