Bruins Back at Ristuccia With Training Camp Sessions

Fans had their first chance to see the black and gold back on the local ice on Monday with a training camp practice open to the public.

The ice at Ristuccia Arena just got a little busier. Following a Monday morning session, the Boston Bruins are officially back to work in Wilmington. With the lockout over, the team opened training camp on Sunday at TD Garden before coming back to Wilmington for their first camp ice time at their official practice facility. It feels good as a player stepping on the ice and hearing those fans [cheering],” said Nathan Horton, according to a story on the Comcast SportsNet New England. “There is nothing better. It felt so good."  Monday's practice will be far from the last time the Bruins will be in Wilmington this season. They'll be …

Week in Review: Nov. 8 to 14

Our launch week brought you loads of news on Veterans Day and sports, charitable and entertaining events and more.

Bruins Took Ice Saturday Without Practicing

Coach Claude Julien called off Friday’s practice following 3-1 loss to Montreal; Savard, Sturm, Boychuk, Thomas, and Rask the only Bruins who took the ice.

Boston Bruins host the Ottawa Senators, another division rival, tonight at TD Garden. The Bruins have been following a jam-packed schedule of 11 games in 19 days. "Didn't think there's much we would have done today that would benefit us in tomorrow's game," added Julien, whose squad did participate in off-ice workouts. Despite the whittled…
