McDonough Takes Home Hardware at Hockey Night in Boston

The Wilmington High School junior was tournament MVP and the Showcase Tournament scoring champion.

Brendan McDonough, a junior from the Wilmington High School boys hockey team, recently finished a successful week of hockey at the 2012 Hockey Night in Boston Summer Showcase in Haverhill. McDonough was voted a HNIB Tournament MVP as well as the Showcase Tournament Scoring Champ. He played for the newly formed Metro team coached by Frank Golden, who led his team to the semifinal round. Also among the participants in the tournament were McDonough's Wildcat teammates and classmates Luke Foley and Cody McGowan. Foley played for the Metro team as well and Cody played for the Suburban team.
