Local Fitness Center Supporting Breast Cancer Awareness

Body Infusion by HER will donate non-member fees to breast cancer research.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and one local fitness studio is stepping up to help the cause. Body Infusion by HER announced recently that it will donate all non-member walk-in fee for a variety of classes to breast cancer research during the entire month of October. The classes during which fees will be donated are spin class with Alicia Mondays at 6:35 p.m., yoga with Pennie Tuesday's at 7 p.m., body infusion with Heather Wednesdays at 9 a.m., boxing with Emily Wednesdays at 5 p.m., spin class Thursdays with Ani at 5:30 p.m. and boxing with Rose on Fridays at 9 a.m. Opened earlier this year, Body Infusion by HER has quickly become a local favorite of Wilmington residents and other fitness fans in the area. Newest Wilmington Gym Finds Early Success

Body Infusion by HER off to fast start with clients traveling from in and out of town for a workout.

With the three owners of Body Infusion by HER coming from Wilmington, Tewksbury and Woburn, it was evident that there would be a client base from multiple towns around the local area when the studio opened nearly two months ago. But just how far residents have been willing to travel for a workout has been surprising, even to Wilmington’s newest trio of gym owners. “We have customers coming from Wilmington, Billerica and Tewksbury, but we have people coming from as far as Lynnfield and Peabody,” said co-owner Emily Vieira, of Wilmington. “I didn’t know people would even know about us so the fact that they drive all the way from there is exciting. Local Trio Opens New Fitness Business

Wilmington, Tewksbury and Woburn residents combine to open Body Infusion by HER.

For a trio of local residents with a combined 30 years of work in the fitness industry, the next step was a logical one. It was time to open their own studio. “The three of us joined up because of the trust we have in each other,” said co-owner Emily King, who teamed up with Tewksbury resident Rose Ryan and Woburn native Heather Lowe to open up Body Infusion by HER over the weekend. “We are hard working, dedicated, and we have a lot of heart and passion for what we do.” Wilmington’s newest gym is located at 296 Shawsheen Ave. in the plaza that includes Greg’s Roast Beef.
