There is a large park, playground, skate-park and outdoor sports facility open to the public adjacent to the school as well. It is located on Church Street near Adams Street.

In addition to having a curriculum that focuses on standard high school subjects such as English, math, science, social studies, foreign languages, technology education and the arts, the school also offers programs catering to its students and parents.

These programs include the Wildcat Project, which offers education and programs for alcohol and drug abuse. There is also the Wildcat Community Service Program, which is a program that networks with local non-profits for the students to find volunteer opportunities that are required before graduation.
