William Butters II Farmhouse is a very recent historical landmark in Wilmington. It was officially designated as one in July 2010. Built by William Butters II between 1682 and 1690, it is one of the oldest unchanged buildings in Wilmington. It was here that the Baldwin Apple was discovered, a fact that is memorialized in a neighboring monument.
