Your Guide: Wilmington Good Guy at Lots of Laughs

On Friday, Sept. 13, Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge will honor local comedian, and Wilmington's 2013 Good Guy, Steve Bjork. The night will feature Steve Bjork and friends for a night of laughs with a portion of the proceeds going to Steve’s favorite charity, Local Heroes.

Since 2004, Local Heroes has sent nearly 17,000 packages to our servicemen and women serving in harm’s way. Thisall-volunteer group pays an average of $40,000 a year in postage alone.

Steve Bjork is a polished veteran of the highly competitive Boston comedy scene with crisscrossing tours of the country under his belt. His material isintelligent, sometimes absurd, and always accessible. A longtime favorite in nightclubs and colleges around the country, Bjork enjoys equal success in corporate settings.

In addition to hundreds of top echelon industry-respected comedians, Bjork has
performed with such luminaries as Lenny Clarke, Steven Wright, Dom Irrera, DaveChappelle, Joe Rogan and Tommy Chong.

He has performed at all of the major Boston and New England comedy clubs alongwith The Borgata Casino in Atlantic City, The Improv in Las Vegas, NV; MoheganSun in CT, Hilarities in Orlando, FL and Cleveland, OH; TSM Comedy Caravan inLouisville, KY; Crackers in Indianapolis, IN, Penguins in Cedar Rapids, IA, andmany, many others.
