Weekend Planner: An Upcoming Blood Drive, Wilmington Farmers Market and More

Each Thursday, we're going to take a look at weekend events coming up in and around Wilmington. Did we miss an event? Post it on Patch here, and we'll be sure to include it on our list. 

Friday, Aug. 9

Have a child two-years-old or younger? Bring them to Baby Times at the Wilmington Memorial Library at 10 a.m. for a sharing program of songs, rhymes, games and picture books. 

Check out Friday Night Flicks at the Tewksbury Public Library, this week featuring "Oblivion." The movie starts at 8 p.m. at the Tewksbury Public Library.You can register here.

Sunday, Aug. 11

Are you a local artist? Check out Creative Art Sessions in the Green Room at the Tewksbury Hospital at 1 p.m. and work in a creative workspace on your current projects or together with other artists with plenty of space to spread out. 

The Wilmington Farmers Market will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Swain Green next to the Fourth of July Building.

Monday, Aug. 12

There is an American Red Cross Blood Drive being held at the Knights of Columbus at 126 Middlesex Ave. in Wilmington at 2 p.m.
