Friday, Aug. 16
Celebrate the end of this year's summer reading season with an ice cream social at the Wilmington Memorial Library on Friday, Aug. 16 at 3 p.m. Kids will receive their reading certificates and grand prize raffle winners will be announced. 

Saturday, Aug. 17

The Learning Experience at 220 Main St. in Wilmington will host their National Curriculum Open House on Saturday at 10 a.m. Meet teachers and students. Find out more here.

The Redmen Football Club is hosting a cornhole tournament on Saturday at the Lowell Bunting Club at 11 a.m. There is a $50 entry fee for a team of two. Find out how to register here.


Sunday, Aug. 18

The Fourth Annual Greater Merrimack Valley Restaurant Showcase Week will kick off on Sunday, Aug. 18. Presented by The Greater Merrimack Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau, Restaurant Showcase Week spotlights the region as a dining destination gem and allows local restaurants to show off their unique culinary styles. Stop by the Wilmington Farmers Market on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Swain Green. It's Green Week to celebrate sustainability and healthy living. Check out a full listing of vendors.
