Weekend Agenda: Wilmington Good Guy at Lots of Laughs, Travel Basketball Open House and More

Friday, Sept. 13

On September 13, Lots of Laughs Comedy Lounge will be honoring local comedian, and Wilmington's 2013 Good Guy, Steve Bjork. Come down to support Steve Bjork and friends and for a night of laughs with a portion of the proceeds going to Steve’s favorite charity, Local Heroes.

Saturday, Sept. 14

Stop by 89 Morse Ave. in Wilmington on Saturday to purchase some Daylillys. Find out more.

Stop by the Wilmington Memorial Library at 10 a.m. on Saturday for morning storytimes to help build a foundation for a lifelong love of books and 
reading. Find out more.

Wilmington Boys Travel Basketball will hold an open house on Saturday at  5 p.m. at the Wildwood School outdoor courts. The open house will consist of a free skills and drills session open to all boys between grades 4 and 8 who are interested in participating in the travel basketball program, a question and answer session for parents, and registration for the upcoming tryouts. 

Sunday, Sept. 14

Stop by the Wilmington Memorial Library at 4 p.m. to make earrings, necklaces, bracelets, or key chains out of old book pages to celebrate National Teen Read Week.

Swing by the Wilmington Farmers Market on Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and also catch the the Wilmington Historic Commission's Antique Car Show. Check out a list of vendors and see who will be at the community table here.
