Thursday, Dec. 5
Support the Wilmington Middle School PAC by ordering dinner at the 99 Restaurant on Thursday. If you place your order (dine-in or take out) between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., present the flyer - the 99 Restaurant will donate 15% of your order back to the WMS PAC. Find out more here.
Friday, Dec. 6
The Bad Mama Jamas, a four piece group featuring vocalist Susan Iacobellis, will play the sounds of Motown along with a few songs of the season at Wilmington Memorial Library at 7 p.m. Ticket price includes a complimentary glass of wine and dessert. Find out more here.
Saturday, Dec. 7
The Women of Wilmington’s 3rd Annual Festival of Trees will kick off Saturday, Dec. 7 from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. This free family-friendly event will feature a spectacular raffle of close to 100 holiday trees, wreaths and baskets. Find out more here.
The annual Wilmington tree lighting ceremonies will be held from 4 p.m. through 6:30 p.m on Saturday. Santa will be present to to light the tree and take photos with children at the Fourth of July building. Read more here.
Sunday, Dec. 8
Celebrate the second Sunday of Advent at Wilmington United Methodist Church on Sunday at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. or 11 am. This service focuses on the story of John the Baptist. Find out more here.
