Each Thursday, we're going to take a look at weekend events coming up in and around Wilmington. Did we miss an event? Post it on Patch here, and we'll be sure to include it on our list. 

Thursday, Oct. 24
Do you LOVE all things zombie? Are you a huge fan of The Walking Dead or books like The Forest of Hands and Teeth? Stop by the Wilmington Memorial Library at 6:30 p.m. for a zombie party with snacks, crafts, and more. 

Friday, Oct. 25

The Wilmington High School Class of 1983 will hold their 30th reunion this Friday, Oct. 25. The reunion will be held from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. at the Knights of Columbus at 126 Middlesex Ave. in Wilmington.
The Committee of the Sarah D.J. Carter Lecture Fund invite you to join us as we present “Squeezebox Stompers”  at Wilmington Middle School from Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Doors open at 6:30. There is no cost for admission! Find out more here.

Wildcats girls varsity volleyball will take on Watertown High School at Wilmington Middle School at 5:15 p.m.

Wildcats girls varsity soccer will take on Stoneham High School at Wilmington High School at 6 p.m.

Wildcats football will take on Watertown High School at 7 p.m. at Victory Field in Watertown. 
Saturday, Oct. 26
The 26th Annual AppleFest Craft Fair will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 from 
9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Tewksbury Memorial High School located at 320 Pleasant Street in Tewksbury. 

The annual Harvest and Holly Fair will be held at the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 89 Church St. on Oct. 26 at 9 a.m.

The 2013 Battle of the Bands will take place on Oct. 26 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m in the Wilmington High School Auditorium. There will be a $10 Admission at the door.

Shawsheen Tech Alumni will sponsor "Roasted Ram" honoring Jack Bowen and Ken Gabriel on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m. The fundraiser will support 2014 Shawsheen Tech Scholarships. Find out more here.
