WCTV Photo Contest

WCTV is hosting a photography contest! Anyone who lives or
works in Wilmington
is invited to submit their photographs; you do not have to be a member of WCTV
to participate!

All submissions will be posted on our Community Bulletin
Board for two weeks beginning Nov. 6 – Nov. 19. During this time WCTV viewers
will be encouraged to vote for their favorite photographs. A three-person panel
of photographers will also judge the photographs. The top 10 submissions will
be printed and put on display in the WCTV offices; all winners will be able to take
the prints home after three months on display. The photographers will receive
an award certificate and a free one-year membership to WCTV to try their hand
at a television medium. The first place winner will also receive a $50 gift
card to Best Buy.

The contest theme is Wilmington Architecture. The photograph
must have been taken between Jan. 1, 2010 and Nov. 4, 2011.

Each contestant is limited to two submissions. Please submit
your photographs in an 800×600 pixel .jpg format AND a raw file format (for winning prints). Please include your
first and last name, address, phone number, e-mail address, the title of your
photograph, the date the photograph was taken and the name and location of the

The submission deadline is Friday, November 4, 2011 before
midnight. E-mail submissions to wctv@wctv.org
with a subject line of “Photo Contest.”
