Fundraiser for Kelly Family Set for Tonight

Knights of the Columbus is the venues for event raising money for family suffering from a pair of devastating occurrences.

Tonight is the night to help out the Kelly family.

For those who may have , the Kelly family has suffered through a series of life-changing events.

First, Bob Kelly suffered a stroke and was unable to run the family business, Advanced Sheet Mettle Services in Hudson, N.H.

While Bob recovered, Brandon tried to take over the business until he suffered a major setback of his own. Brandon was in an accident that forced doctors to ampuate part of his leg.

On Wednesday at , a benefit will take place from 5-9 p.m. in an effort to raise money for the Kelly family, which shut down its business and is attempting to pay a mounting stack of bills.

Some of the raffle and silent auction items are Red Sox tickets, an iPda, Robin Thicke concert tickets for his House of Blues show, Swarovski jewelry, and more. Event organizers ask that attendees bring case for the raffle, silent auction and bar.

As of Wednesday, online fundraising efforts have already reached $8,000 led by a $2,500 annonymous donation that was made just hours before the event. If you can't attend on Wednesday, visit the Kelly Family Fund website.

“They’re one of the toughest families I have ever met,” Brenton Thornicroft, one of the event's organizers, . “Obviously the money is one side of it. But at the end of the day, we want Wednesday to be a day they can look back on and remember with a smile. That lasts a lot longer than any monetary value.”
