Fun on the Fourth Night One: Music, Wiffle Ball, Limbo and More

Fun on the Fourth kicked off Tuesday night on the Wilmington Town Common with food, music and more.

Despite overcast skies, Wilmington residents turned out Tuesday evening to take in the first night of the 33rd Fun on the Fourth festivities and kick off Fourth of July weekend early.

Tuesday's events included a barbecue dinner by the Rotary, horseshoes and the ladies 2 mile walk.

Kids were entertained by Wiffle Ball games for ages 14 and under, a limbo contest and a freeze dance.

The Mike Tebo Band played a set throughout the evening under the gazebo on the Town Common.

Fun on the Fourth will continue Wednesday night a performance by the 4EverFab Band, the final round of horseshoes, wiffle ball for ages 15 and over and a blueberry pie eating contest.
