Wilmington Public Schools Closed Thursday, Friday in Advance of Storm

Schools will be closed in Wilmington on Thursday and Friday due to the impending storm.


Wilmington Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 2 and Friday, Jan. 3 due to the impending storm expected to dump between 6 and 12 inches of snow on the Merrimack Valley.

Wilmington students have been on winter vacation for the past 12 days. 

The storm is expected to begin during the day on Thursday and may drop 2-4 inches on Thursday. The snow should stretch into Friday with multiple Boston area forecasters predicting 6-12 inches of snow by the time the storm ends on Friday.
