What is Your Message to the WHS Class of 2014?

Wilmington High School's graduation ceremony was held on Sunday.

On Sunday, the latest group of Wilmington High School graduates walked across the stage during the commencement ceremony held at Shriners Auditorium.

It was a farewell on several levels. In addition to students moving on to the next chapter in their lives, several faculty members were as well with this being the last graduation for Richard Fardy, retiring after 49 years, and for Joanne Benton, retiring as the Superintendent of Schools.

Fardy was the Teacher of the Year, giving a speech to the crowd in attendance as he said farewell to the seniors.

And now, it's your turn to say farewell to Wilmington's seniors.

What is your message to the Wilmington High School Class of 2014? What should they be prepared for as they head to college, the work force, armed forces or where ever they are on the way to? Let them know your words of wisdom in the comments section below.

From everyone at Patch, congratulations to the Class of 2014, and best of luck in the future!
