Watch as the Final Beam is Put Into Place at the New Wilmington High School

The beam was lifted by crane and put onto the structure following a ceremony at the football field.

Construction workers raised the final support beam into place at the new Wilmington High School during a topping off ceremony on Tuesday.

During the festivities, several local and state officials spoke to a crowd at Alumni Stadium. 

Watch the final beam, which was signed members of the Class of 2014 and others, put into place in the video above.
