What's On Tap For Wilmington Selectmen on Oct. 15?

We take a look at what's on the agenda for Wilmington Selectmen at their Oct. 15 meeting.

Wilmington Selectmen will meet Tuesday, Oct. 15 at Wilmington Town Hall in meeting room 9 at 7 p.m.

There is only one appointment on the agenda for Tuesday night, with Selectmen set to hear from Theresa Marciello, Director of Elderly Services, regarding fuel assistance and Lahey Clinic grant.

The appointment is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 7:10 p.m.

Selectmen are also scheduled to hear several communications via Town Manager Jeff Hull including:

  • A memorandum from Library Director Christina Stewart regarding the library billboard.
  • A letter from Kip B. Johns, Manager, Eastern Service Center, U. S. Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, regarding a Boston Logan Airport Noise Study.
  • Correspondence from Paul Regan, Executive Director, MBTA Advisory Board, and Marc Draisen, Executive Director, Metropolitan Area Planning Council, regarding Municipal Elections to the Boston Region Metropolitan Planning Organization.
The board will also consider signing a proclamation to declare Oct. 24 as United Nations Day, although I'm told in the past the board has declined to do so.
