What Did the Town Spend on Last Week?

The town cut 215 checks last week.


Each week the town spends money approved in the annual budget for everyday expenses and, each week, Wilmington Patch will be running a new feature, highlighting a handful of these expenses for our readers' perusal.

The following is a small sample of who the town paid, how much they paid them, and for what reason. Check back each week for more line items out of the town's budget.

In total, the town cut 215 checks for a total of $474,349.21. Here are a few of those payments: 

  • The town paid Northeastern Petroleum $18,953 for Fuelmaster Fuel Management System for DPW.
  • The town paid Aalanco Service Corp. $9,710 for maintenance on boilers.
  • The town paid Wyer Asphalt Curb, LLC $6,403 for asphalt curbing for DPW.
  • The town paid Alert-all Corporation $2,631.99 for supplies for fire safety program
