What Did the Town Spend on Last Week?

The town cut 242 checks last week.


Each week the town spends money approved in the annual budget for everyday expenses and, each week, Wilmington Patch will be running a new feature, highlighting a handful of these expenses for our readers' perusal.

The following is a small sample of who the town paid, how much they paid them, and for what reason. Check back each week for more line items out of the town's budget.

In total, the town cut 242 checks for a total of $788,610.16. Here are a few of those payments: 

  • The town paid $23,190 to MHQ Municipal Vehicles for a new van for School Department
  • The town paid $13,535.88 to Edmentum for online learning programs for School Department.
  • The town paid $5,200 to Arcadis US for water main replacement for the new High School. 
  • The town paid $5,783.50 to Hall Pumps Sales & Service for pump repair for Sewer Department.
