What Did the Town Spend on Last Week?

The town cut 342 checks last week.


Each week the town spends money approved in the annual budget for everyday expenses and, each week, Wilmington Patch will be running a new feature, highlighting a handful of these expenses for our readers' perusal.

The following is a small sample of who the town paid, how much they paid them, and for what reason. Check back each week for more line items out of the town's budget.

In total, the town cut 342 checks for a total of $1,113,815.38. Here are a few of those payments: 

  • The town paid $43,908 to X2 Development Corporation for student management system for the School Department.
  • The town paid $23,666.37 to Dell Marketing L.P. for computers for the School Department.
  • The town paid $9,094.70 to Hub Technical Services for technical services for new phone system.
  • The town paid $8,250 to Showcase Cinemas for theatre tickets for the Recreation Department, paid for by program fees.
