Veterans Day Ceremony Set for Town Common

The ceremony will be held on the town common at 11 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 11.


At their Oct. 28 meeting, Wilmington selectmen voted 4-0 to approve use of the town common for Veterans Day ceremonies to be held on Monday, Nov. 11.

In a letter addressed to Selectmen Chairman Michael McCoy, Director of Veterans' Services and Selectman Lou Cimaglia invited selectmen to participate in the ceremonies and also requested use of the town common.

Cimaglia was not present at the Oct. 28 selectmen meeting.

The ceremony is set to begin at 11 a.m. on the town common, with those attending being asked to gather in the Fourth of July parking lot at 10:45 a.m.
