Selectmen to Discuss Entertainment License for Red Heat Tavern at Monday Meeting

Monday's Board of Selectmen meeting begins at 7 p.m. inside Town Hall.

The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets on Monday night, holding a meeting that begins at 7 p.m. inside Town Hall, Room 9.

After Executive Session at 6 p.m., the regular meeting opens at 7 p.m. with an appointment with Giulio Favuzza, the Assistant General Manager of Red Heat Tavern.

Favuzza will ask board members to approve an Entertainment License for the business, located at 300 Lowell Street.

Next on the agenda is Department of Public Works Director Michael Woods, who will join Ko Ishikura, president of Green International Affiliates, Inc. The meeting will be to speak about the concept design for Route 38 from Route 62 to the Woburn city line.

The third appointment of the evening is with Kathleen Black Reynolds, the chairman of the Historical Commission, to discuss the Whitefield School and Butters Farm.

Later in the evening, selectmen will consider participating in the Coalition of Municipalities, a regional group aimed at preventing the Tennessee Gas Pipeline from being installed in area towns.
