Sears Endorsed By Citizens For Limited Taxation

Last week, Republican candidate for State Representative Doug Sears announced his endorsement by Citizens for Limited Taxation. Citizens for Limited Taxation (CLT), based in Marblehead, is a group focused on taxpayer issues and legislative reform.

“I am thrilled to have the endorsement of Citizens for Limited Taxation. CLT works to inform voters about legislators who will stand up for the taxpayers and keep government spending in line. These are cornerstones for my campaign to rein in outrageous state spending and reduce the income and sales tax rates.” Sears began,

“Rep. Miceli received a 56% failing grade from the 2011-2012 CLT legislative ratings. We need a Representative on Beacon Hill who will be a reliable advocate for taxpayers here in Tewksbury and Wilmington. We cannot afford two more years of failed advocacy for the overburdened taxpayers here.”

Doug Sears is the Republican candidate for State Representative in the 19th Middlesex District. He currently serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Tewksbury Board of Selectman, and has previously served on the Tewksbury School Committee. He is a lawyer in private practice out of Tewksbury.
