Rabies Clinic Scheduled for Saturday in Wilmington

The event takes place at the Public Buildings Department on Church Street.

Wilmington residents are invited to bring their animals for a rabies clinic this weekend, and they can also purchase a 2014 dog license at the same time if needed.

The clinic is scheduled from 12 p.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday and will take place at the Public Buildings Department, located at 30 Church Street.

Dogs must be on a leash and cats in a carrier upon arrival. The cost of the shot is $10 per animal.

In addition, the Town Clerk's Office will be available at the Rabies Clinic to process residents' 2014 dog license if they have not already been submitted.

The cost is $10 for a spayed or neutered dog and $15 for a non-spayed or neutered dog. Residents are reminded that there is a late fee of $15 for all dogs licensed after April 15.
