Candidates Zenkin, Tisei and Dembrowski to Meet With Voters Thursday

The three republican candidates will be at a meet-and-greet at 13 Town Line Road in Burlington.

Interested in meeting local republican candidates for state and federal offices? Thursday is you chance to meet three of them.

Former State Sen. , Burlington and small business owner Dr. Gerry Dembrowski will be meeting voters at a meet-and-greet at the Senesi Residence - 13 Town Line Road, Burlington, starting at 6:30 p.m. 

Tisei is challenging Congressman John Tierney for the Massachusetts 6th Congressional District, which includes Burlington and many towns to the north-east. Tisei served in the state legislature for more than 25 years and was Senate Minority Leader before leaving his seat to run for lieutenant governor.

Zenkin is running to fill the State Representative seat of the 21st Middlesex District being left vacant by outgoing Rep. Charles Murphy. Having served on the Board of Selectmen since 2007, Zenkin was reelected and served as chairman of the board in 2010. Zenkin will likely be facing , who is also running to fill the seat.

The 21st Middlesex District includes the towns of Burlington, Bedford and Precinct 3 of Wilmington.

Dembrowski is running for the Massachusetts State Senator seat for the 4th Middlesex District, currently held by . According to his web site, Dembrowski, who holds a doctorate in chiropractic medicine, is the owner of local practices. He is a fiscal conservative and believes that the free market, including businesses and individuals, will fuel our economic recovery.

The Fourth Middlesex District consists ward 1 and wards 3 to 7 in Woburn, Arlington, Billerica, Burlington and precincts 1, 2 and 4 to 7 in Lexington.

Zenkin said the evening will be a relaxed and fun event that will give voters a chance to get to know the candidates.

"This will be a chance to talk to us and ask us questions and get to know us," he said. "If you have any curiosity about the candidates this will be a great time to come in and meet with us."
