Brown Street/Whipple Road Bridge Ribbon Cutting on Friday

State and local officials will gather for the official re-opening of bridge that has been closed for two-and-a-half years.

State and local officials from Tewksbury, Billerica and Wilmington will gather in South Tewksbury on Friday at 11 a.m. for the official ribbon-cuting ceremony, marking the re-opening of the Brown Street/Whipple Road Bridge.

The event will be hosted by Massachusetts Department of Transportation Highway Administrator Frank DePaola.

This is such great news! Special thanks to Representative Miceli for his persistence on re-opening this bridge, keeping up with the DOT and having it open ahead of schedule!
