WPD Use Middlesex Sheriff Mobile Training Unit

The Middlesex Sheriff's Department loaned the Wilmington Police Department their mobile training unit this week.


Wilmington Police are using a mobile training center this week to improve their firearms and verbal skills when dealing with hostile situations.

The Middlesex Sheriff's Department loaned the Wilmington Police Department their mobile training unit to allow officers to train with live firearms using video based scenarios. 

Officers interact with the video and practice their firearms and verbal skills in simulated high stress situations.
