Woman Falls From Overpass Onto I-93 Early Friday
State Police investigating possible jump after woman landed in left travel lane.
A 32-year-old woman was air lifted out of Wilmington after she fell from the overpass above I-93 South and landed in the travel lane.
Troopers from the Massachusetts State Police Barracks in Andover were called to the scene at 3:50 a.m., where the pedestrian suffered serious injuries after the fall from Route 62.
According to police, unidentified good samaritans called 911 and pulled the woman off of the roadway to prevent further injuries.

"Troopers are looking into the possibility that the victim could have jumped from the overpass," police said in a press release. "We will not be releasing any more information on the victim."
Police also said that the Wilmington Fire Department and EMS personnel stabilized the woman until Life Flight arrived to transport her to Brigham and Women's Hospital.
