Wilmington Resident Charged With Impaired Driving After Tewksbury Stop

An arrest does not indicate a conviction in this excerpt from the Tewksbury Police Department.

A Wilmington resident's drive through Tewksbury ended with an arrest for alleged drunken and drugged driving.

According to the Tewksbury Police Department log, officers stopped a vehicle on Sunday at 2:32 a.m. for marked lanes violation and a red light violation.

Following the incident, officers arrested Cheryl A. Reynolds, 55, of 1 Swain Road, Wilmington.

Tewksbury Police charged Reynolds with operating under the influence of liquor, and operating under the influence of drugs.

In addition, police charged the Wilmington resident with marked lanes violation, failure to stop or yield and negligent operation of a motor vehicle.
