Wilmington Police Nab Alleged Cellphone Snatcher

Wilmington Police apprehended a cellphone snatcher Thursday after receiving reports a phone had been stolen from a vehicle on Main Street. 

At 3:12 pm this afternoon, police received a call from an individual who had a cellphone stolen from his vehicle at Colonial Park Plaza, located at 634 Main St. 

Thanks to eyewitness descriptions, officers were quickly able to locate the suspect and take him into custody on Lowell Street.

Officers retrieved the cellphone and returned it to its owner.
