Wilmington Man Faces Ten Years to Life in Prison for Child Rape
According to the Lowell Sun, Paul Berry will be sentenced on Monday after he was found guilty earlier this week.
According to a newspaper report, a Wilmington man faces a lengthy prison sentence following a guilty verdict on charges of child rape.
The Lowell Sun reported that Paul Berry, 51, formerly of 36 Grove Street, was found guilty on Tuesday after six days in front of a jury at Middlesex Superior Court.
As a result, Berry faces a mandatory sentence of 10 years in state prison, and possibly more, according to The Sun.

The charges stem from a 2009 incident when Berry was arrested and charged with assaulting a 12-year-old Wilmington girl.
Berry is next slated to appear in court on September 24, according to The Sun, when he will be sentenced to between 10 years and life in prison.
