Wilmington Crash Snarls Wednesday Afternoon Traffic on I-93

Wilmington Police reported possible injuries due to the crash just after 3:20 p.m.

A crash on Interstate 93 in Wilmington late Wednesday afternoon slowed down the commute on the northern portion of the road.

Wilmington Police tweeted at about 3:20 p.m. on Wednesday that a four-car crash was reported in I-93 North, just north of Exit 41.

In a follow up tweet about five minutes later, police said that the crash was between Exit 40 and Exit 41 in the left lane, and injuries were reported.

Just before 4 p.m., Wilmington Police also reported a report of a car fire near Exit 38. Less than five minutes later, however, police issued a follow up tweet that the report was unfounded.
