Three Wilmington Residents Arrested In Connection to String of Recent House Breaks

The following information is provided by Wilmington Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Wilmington Police arrested three Wilmington residents on Tuesday in connection to a series of four recent break-ins that occurred in the area of Pouliot Place and Shawsheen Commons.

Keegan Farnham, 83 Nichols St., Wilmington, 21, was arrested and charged with four counts receiving stolen property over $250

Derek Andrew Queen, 3402 Pouliot Pl., Wilmington, 21, was arrested and charged with two counts breaking and entering into a building during daytime.

Derek Michael Duggan, 901 Lords Ct., Wilmington, 20, was arrested and charged with two counts breaking and entering into a building during daytime and possession of a class A drug.

According to Lt. Brian Pupa, the three were arrested in connection to break-ins that occurred in the area of Pouliot Place on Sept. 11, Sept. 18, Oct. 7 and Oct. 14.

The three allegedly committed the break-ins during the day, usually in the afternoon, all into single family homes, according to Pupa.

Various items were taken from the homes in each break-in, according to Pupa.

There have been two other recent break-ins in Wilmington, one on Burlington Avenue on Sept. 27 and one on Birch Road on Oct. 16, although these remain under investigation, according to Pupa.

Wilmington Police are advising residents to remain aware of any suspicious persons in their neighborhood, and to call police immediately if they suspect a break-in is occurring.
